Hi,

I'm going to sell my AirPort Extreme Wireless Base Station, but I don't know how to unregister it from Apple!
I don't want the new owner to get in trouble just because the wifi station is still registered to my name!?

Does anybody know how to unregister previously registered stuff?

Thanks in advance!

You can't - only the original owner can register hardware, so apple don't provide a mechanism for 'un-registering'. What I don't quite understand is why you think you need to delete your registration, or why the new owner could get into trouble....

The warranty is transferrable, you don't have to do anything.

If someone needs to bring it in for service, they don't care who is the original
owner, they just look up the serial number, and see whether it's under
warranty. No need to unregister (unlike most PCs and electronics which states
warranty is valid for original owner only). :)
