I dropped my mid 2009 Macbook pro off my couch by accident, and after I picked it up, it seemed to be running very slow, and freezing up, so I went to restart it. When it booted up, I got a blank grey screen. None of the commands work. No single user mode, no safe/secure boot, no pram reset, no nothing. It is completely unresponsive. I have also tried reseating the ribbon cable to the keyboard, but that did not help either. I have also tried removing the battery, and doing it just off AC, and also doing it just off battery.

Sadly, for you, it's a goner.

The only way to get this to work is to bring it in for repair, but it is probably not worth it, you can expect the repair to be $$$
