Unresponsive Magic Mouse Clicks - W7 VM on Parallels 9

I've been using Apple Magic Mouse on Windows 7 VM with no issues until recently when I upgraded my old rMBP to one with more RAM (same 2012 version) and upgraded Parallels to version 9 (I was using an older Parallels version not compatible with Mountain Lion). But, after the update/change, I have an issue with mouse clicks not responding often. I sometimes do heavy Excel spreadsheet editing work and the unresponsiveness issue is just driving me crazy. It just does not recognize clicks and click & drag often.

Anyone familiar with this issue?
