Since around Beta 2 or 3 of iOS7, the screen on my iPhone 5 became really sluggish and irresponsive, but only in some areas.
The left side of the screen is the biggest problem, with nearly the entire left row of icons being difficult to hit. Alternatively, it does happen occasionally to the right side of the screen, but not as frequent. It's usually solved by locking and unlocking, bringing up Siri, etc. But the fix is incredibly temporary, and sometimes doesn't even work at all.
I figure part of it is hardware, since I know the screen isn't broken (since it works occasionally), and I know lag has a little to do with it, since sometimes it registers several hits on the key I've been trying to hit for several minutes.
I've seen some people have the issue, but my friend running an iPhone 5 as well hasn't had a problem at all with his screen, just minor lag issues. I tried doing a completely fresh install of iOS7 (the GM), but I got unresponsive issues during the set up process, so that didn't solve anything at all.
I'm probably gonna plan a trip to the Apple Store, but I was wondering if anyone else was having a similar issue.
