Hi everyone.

A few weeks ago, I updated to iOS 7.0.4 and it was smooth sailing for a few days. Then, for some odd reason, my touch screen is now being unresponsive upon using the sleep/home button to wake the device. This behavior carries on the the home screen if I use Touch ID to unlock my phone. I assumed that it was corrupt software on my device, so I backed up my phone, and restored it as a completely new device. Yet my device's touchscreen was again frozen on the iOS 7 "welcome screen." Yesterday I went for my last resort, updating to iOS 7.1 beta 1. The problem still persists, leading me to believe this is a hardware issue. I've searched Apple's forums, and it seems that many other people are experiencing the same issue. I would really appreciate anyone's insight on this matter :(

Bad touch digitizer. Get a replacement from apple.
