Lately when I access this forum as a logged in member, then go to iPhone forum, read a thread then hit the back arrow a new tab opens with an ad from cdn, here is am example of the url that opens:
http://cdn.macrumors.com/ga/728.html
I am using Firefox 12.1 with popups being blocked.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I am replying to my own thread because apparently in Firefox the internal adblocker does not work when you are hitting a keystroke (like the back button), however I installed the adblock plus addon and now the cdn window does not open.

I never had a problem in Internet Explorer only Firefox.

Make a new thread this in the Site Feedback forum and see if you can link an ad to when it happens. A site admin will respond back with more questions and try to help your out to isolate/fix it.

I've been getting the same randomly. Not just the iPhone thread. A new tab pops open in Safari. Usually it's something like mactracker.
