So I replaced the housing on my iPhone 3G. I bought the housing online. It was the complete asse, boy so all I needed to do was insert my motherboard and LCD and was good to go... Well, I did everything about 3 times and my sim tray seems to get stuck when I ha e a sim card in it... Its fine when there is no sim in the tray, but its difficult to open when there is. The only reason I got the housing is because the power button on the old one wasn't working. Nor was WiFi. So I replaced it in hopes of getting a functional power button and wifi.. Well, the power button works, but still no WiFi. No big deal though.. I just dont know why the sim card tray is possessing an issue.. :/

Anyone have any similar issues with housings they bought online?

The housing slot wouldn't be big enough to fit the sim most likely. A problem with the housing I would say. Where did you buy the housing from? eBay?
