I’d like to surprise my wife with a series 6 watch for Christmas. She currently has a series 3, so it should be a nice upgrade. The only issue is that when I go to buy it, it asks for a pretty precise band size. I can’t really ask her to size herself without giving it away, obviously.

How important is the band sizing? She’s a pretty small woman and has what I would consider small wrists. How much leeway is there if I were to just order a “size 5”, and she really needed a 3 or a 7?
Thanks

This is something that shouldn’t be guessed at. This is very individual. And  brought the solo loop bands out in the wrong year. This is definitely a try on at the  Store situation.

Is the sport band/sport loop comfortable?
It’s comfortable but I have found the solo loop to be way more comfortable. With the solo loop I sometimes forget I’m even wearing my watch. It’s kind of like the sweatpants of watch bands.
That said, I would definitely not guess at a size for her. The sizes for the solo loop are very dependent on the individual.
