I currently have an iPhone 4 (4.3.1/04.10.01) that was previously jailbroken on 4.2.1 through greenpoison, but was successfully updated through Pwnagetool. I also have two brand new iPhone 4's that are running 4.2.1/03.10.01 and I'm having issues jailbreaking these as well. I went through the same process that I did with my other phone. I downloaded the appropriate firmware, created the custom firmware build, and attempted to restore using iTunes. Each time on both phones the error message reads, "Device is ineligible for requested build" or something to that effect. Any ideas?

Apple stopped signing / allowing you to install 4.3.1 and older firmware. Thus, to restore them, you need to have previously saved old SHSH blobs to trick iTunes into letting you install them. So, for example, if you want to install 4.3.1, do you have 4.3.1 SHSH blobs saved?

Possibly. Tinyumbrella saves your shsh blobs right? If I did have 4.3.1 shsh blobs saved, how would I go about using it for the other two phones?

Each phone has it's unique set of blobs per version. If your question is how can you use your blobs for another phone, you can't.

So is it not possible to jailbreak to 4.3.1 using pwnagetool if you don't have the right shsh blobs saved?

Okay, so any news on when untethered 4.3.2 is supposed to be released?
