The untethered redsn0w 0.9.9 for iOS 5.0, 5.0.1 is flawless, if you can't live without jb like me. Going on three weeks uptime no issues. I am with the others though, progress on untethered is making good headway and soon is a relative term.

by your confusion. I'm same as srf4real I agree completely. I've had 1 time I was forced to boot at work and that was my mistake. but with semitether even that wasn't a end of the world issue.

Ya, my bad. Being UNjailbroken must suck. I am [tethered] 5.0.. on my iPhone 4. Untethered jb for iPhone 4 is only for 4.3.3 or lower to clarify!
There has been one instance where normally I would have shut my phone off and could not; at the theater. The silent switch (yay Apple!!) handled teh situation sufficiently.
