So I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1


Is there a jailbreak for this and if so is it untethered and stable?

iOS 5.1 is in beta. Downgrade to 5.0.1 while you can, and you can use redsn0w to jailbreak. It is untethered and stable.
