untethered jailbreak

I have an iphone 3gs 16gb on ios 4.3.2 which is on a new bootrom. Is there anyway for me to update it to ios 5 and jailbreak it via untethered jailbreak?

You can only update it to iOS 5.0.1 if you have your SHSH blobs. If you don't have those, you cannot update to that iOS version. Use TinyUmbrella to check which versions of iOS you have the SHSH blobs for.

can I save SHSH blobs now and update after that?

You can't save blobs for versions Apple isn't signing anymore. But you can save the 5.1 blobs and use them in the future.
