I am trying to convert my iPad on iOS 9.2.1, which I was able to use Home Depot RC3 and Cydia Impactor 0.4.3 to get a semi-tethered jailbreak, to an untethered jailbreak using UntetherHomeDepot 1.4.2.

However, I can't get this to work at all. These are the steps I have tried:

1. Redo jailbreak using Home Depot RC3 and Cydia Impactor 0.4.3. I used the default offsets for the device recommended by Home Depot.

2. I added repo repo.tihmstar.net and installed UntetherHomeDepot.

3. I rebooted the iPad. But the untethered jailbreak did not take.

Other steps I have also tried:

- I downloaded the net.tihmstar.untetherhomedepot.deb and then installed it manually using dpkg via SSH. It reports that the "primary" stage1 exploit did not work but the alternative exploit worked so that both stage1 and stage2 worked. Still, after reboot, the untethered jailbreak did not take.

-Redo the jailbreak after installing UntetherHomeDepot. Again, the untethered jailbreak did not take.

What am I doing wrong? Also, even if I eventually can get this untethered jailbreak working, do I still need to redo the jailbreak to refresh the 7-day certificate?

Help!!! Please!!!
