I am trying to prepare a photobook using iPhoto '11 (version 9.4.3), but I am not able to prevent that app from cropping the photos I would like to use.
The photos were taken with a compact camera and have a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The orig.png (left picture) shows the top part of the original photo, as taken by the camera. It has some 'space' on top of the towers.
When I place it on placeholder in iPhoto, the top is cropped, as you can see from the second screenshot (right). There is not way to 'pull down' the image. iPhoto crops the photo even if I choose "fit to frame". iPhoto wants to crop it and does not leave me any choice but to look for another software for creating photobooks.
But may be I am missing something: is there anyone who can help me?
