Hello,
My desktop is littered with files that end in .mpkg which appear when I download something. Can I dump these afterwards or do I have to keep them forever?
Thanks,
David:confused:

unwanted files

Thank you for your help - I assume 'dump' means trash, I hope!
Next question, can I do the same with .sit files as well?
Thank you,
David

Yes, dump means putting it into the Trash. The same goes for .sit files, which are StuffIT archives, like .rar or .zip files. If you don't need those files anymore, you can delete them.

Thank you again for your (speedy) help. You should see my desktop now!!!
Regards,
David
