Hello everyone. I'm having an annoying issue with my mac. For reasons maybe tied to another synchronization software, I have to delete huge folders with many subfolders and files... often. The files are however locked now and I'm working to understand if it is the Sync app.
But aside that, I'd like to know how I can batch unlock several files in big folders that have subfolders and hundreds of files.
Once, I only had to cmd-alt-I on the main folder, and instead of a thick, there was a square telling me that some files in there were locked, and I could deselect everything inside removing that square. Now, no more. There is no thick or square, yet there is plenty of locked files inside that folder.
I'm not interested why I'm having these files locked by chronosync or not now, it would be no problem if my mac worked like before, not even worth the pain to find a solution to. Also, I've had over the years problems with unwanted locked files. So, is there a solution from apple, or do I have to buy a third-party app to do what a Mac once did?
I have a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), 1,6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5 updated to MAc os X Catalina 10.15.2.
Thank you for any help
