As my mid 2010 MBP is working GREAT, I do not want to upgrade as I don't have any freezing issue. Is there a way to make this upgrade disappear from automatic update window?

why wouldn't you upgrade, mine was fine too. I just upgraded because i know some software might require the update further down the road.
