I have a bunch of Quicktime H.264 videos. Is there a way I can remove the Quicktime wrapper without re-compressing? I'd like to be able to get a standard H.264/MPEG4 file without losing a generation, as I no longer have all of the originals to re-compress from.

How did you procure them? You could try just changing the suffix to .mp4 and see if it works.

Quicktime Pro (maybe QTAmateur), export, set MPEG-4 to passthrough.

Oh perfect! That's exactly what I need, thanks so much!

I initially used Compressor for most of them, and unfortunately just changing the extension does not work for my purposes. But thanks!
