Hello, as the title suggests, I own a 2010 mid 5.1 mac pro OSX 10.8.5. In a few months I plan to upgrade to Yosemite OSX 10.10 and also I was planning on getting a new 2 terabyte 7200rpm internal hard.

I was planning on getting windows 10 the retail version on a USB stick at the windows store for 2TB hard drive and install windows 10 and have that through bootcamp, is this not possible I have read that this is not possible on old macs, please tell me this is not the case.

I was going to also upgrade my graphics card to a GTX.

What are my solutions/options?

I have windows 7 on a partition drive shared with my mac work at the moment but that hard drive does not sound right in windows 7 so I will be deleting windows 7 partition and getting a drive dedicated to windows.

The windows side of things on my mac I deal with graphics creation. OSX deals with my music creation I have had this set up for a few years now and I like the way it works.

Can any one help or advice? what would you do?

Thanks in advance.
