I've always been a bit of an Apple fanatic, I own an iMac, iPhone, Apple TV, and an iPad. When the Apple watch was announced of course I wanted it, but then I had second thoughts. I haven't worn a watch in years. When I did wear a watch it was a Casio for about $50-.

The best way I could justify an Apple Watch would be for the fitness apps. I do quite a bit of bike riding and use Map My Ride. They have recently updated the app to take advantage of the watch interface.

Yesterday I popped into the Apple Store in San Francisco and saw the watch for the first time in person. One of the employees spent about 15 minutes with me showing me how to use it. I have to say it's pretty cool, but I'm still undecided. I think they're a little overpriced, but that hasn't always stopped in the past. If I do let lose with my American Express card I'll go with the sports model, space gray with the black band.

I'm going to wait a little longer and decide. I hope everyone that has purchased their watch is enjoying it! Would love to hear from others that are using it to track fitness.
