Up next widget issue

the up next widget shows an event in a few weeks time and not the next event in my calendar. Is this a known bug. Thanks

Thats how it's always worked in iOS 10 beta. Doubt it's a bug.

Calendar Up Next widget will show events/reminders that are down the road. (At least a week or two out)

Normal Calendar widget will show events on the day of.
