How long does it take apple to process my up-to-date request? I used the method that needed my receipt (proof of purchase) since I don't have a credit card. I was wondering how long it takes Apple to get back to me on the request. It's been almost a month so I'd imagine that there would be less requests to process...

Try this for immediate success...

Hi,

I waited for nearly a week and got impatient. Did a few forum searches and found that people were very successful using the link below. Just fill in your details again and submit.

You should receive an email within 10 mins with a code that you can redeem on the Apple Store. :D

UK Link:-

This is the American link:-

Do you need a credit card or an Apple ID?

Hello,

You need to provide both in order to purchase things from the Apple Store, even if the item you want doesn't cost anything - it's more for verification. Don't worry though as it won't charge you anything.

You can use a Debit card as well.
