Are these up-to-date disks specific to each machine? I got a new mini for the living room last month, but if I got a copy of SL with the up-to-date program, I'd rather put it on my mac pro as it would benefit more and leave the mini on leo vanilla.

I don't think so as my (now missing) iLife 09 up to date DVD was not machine specific. If it is I'd be pissed because then I'd have to basically pay more for a family pack then anyone. $10 for the UTD and then another $29 if I want it on one other or another $49 if I want it on two others.
