I always come here with WP/general advice and come away with an answer so I'm hoping you guys can help me out here.
I have a few calendars hosted on Trumba (and I have no problem moving to something like Google Calendar). I have one calendar for each type of event. I'm looking for a way to allow my website users (hosted on Wordpress) to signup for weekly 'upcoming events' emails for the calendar/category of events they are interested in.
I am open to any ideas about how to do this... I've considered all types of angles to solve this problem (all of kinds of RSS madness, Wordpress plugins, external services like FeedBurner) but I can't find a solution.
The closest I've come to solving this is with FeedBurner. They offer 'daily digest' emails that include the top 10 or so RSS items for the feed you specify... which would work perfectly except I don't think my visitors want to be emailed every day.
