Update 3.0 What's the Max APPS you can Have

Does anyone know the exact amount of Applications you can have with 3.0, I think it is 9 pages on 2.2, and with Spotlight Search I have an additional page so I am wondering if the Rumor of 11 pages is correct.


I have 7, but I can see how easily addicting it can be since I upgraded my iTouch to an iPhone 3G with 3.0 and tomorrow I get the 3GS, so I am curious if anyone knows the true answer.

well you can have as many apps as your iPhones capacity !

You can have 11 pages of applications, and an unlimited amount of applications with those lost from the home screen available through searching in spotlight. At least as unlimited as storage permits.

It's a hidden feature but it appears the limit is only how many you can physically store on the device. The icons won't show, but they are accessable via spotlight.

Ok so I was correct it used to be 9 pages now it is 11, ok I am still a long way away from that, I just tapped into my 8th page and I am only using roughly 1.2GB of space for apps.

Look it up in iTunes under applications. There you should find all of the applications you have downloaded, if you sync'd with your computer the apps downloaded from your phone.
