Hi guys,
After posting my review on the Modern Auto Layout book, I got a mail today from the author that he's updated the book to version 1.2. I checked it out and it solves one criticism I noted in my review, namely that the headers and footers of tableviews don't support Auto Layout. He included a section that works around this. Not all of my criticisms are addressed though. For instance, there are frameworks that wrap Auto Layout, and these aren't addressed or compared. To be frank, I advise against using external libraries and think it's much better to just learn Auto Layout. But still.
The new 1.2 version of the book also includes updated screenshots and code to work with the latest version of Xcode and Swift.
Anyway, they're running a pre-WWDC discount, 20% off: https://gum.co/albook/WWDC
It's valid until the 2nd of June (probably UTC so get it before the 1st of June if you live in the US).
Note that I'm not affiliated with the writer, I'm just happy that someone's writing books on iOS.
