so i bought my iphone as 1.02 then revirginized and updated to 1.1.1, both unlocked. then i installed some package that made it keep restarting so i clicked update to 1.1.2 because that is the only thing that would get it to stop. then i downgraded firmware to 1.02 with the 1.1.1 baseband. i want to upgrade to 1.1.1 but every time i try it has an error 1015 and will not exit recovery mode. i could use it as an unlocked 1.02 but i want it to update to 1.1.1. any suggestions?

Maybe its getting confused with the fact that you now have a newer baseband than the firmware you're upgrading to (i.e. 1.1.2's baseband already which is newer than the 1.1.1 baseband you're trying to upgrade to. Your best bet might be to just upgrade to 1.1.2 once and for all
