Update Apps

Whenever i receive an update about an application on my iphone and attempt to download it i get an alert that says, Unable to download application please try again later. And whenever i try to download an app, or update an app, on my computer it freezes at "Purchasing..."
Is this a common problem that everyone is waiting for a fix for?

Don't know since I avoid dl'ing apps on the phone; I believe that's what made my backups take over an hour...

i've been trying to update my apps since last night, and keep getting the "Could not complete the itunes store request. the store may be busy. check your internet connection or try again later." i also noticed the "update all" button is gone at the upper right corner on the "my apps update" page. maybe apple is up to something?

A lot of people including myself had a problem with updating apps yesterday. It finally worked after 12+ hours. I bet Apple is working on the store to prepare for some kind of Tuesday release.
