Just installed a new SSD drive Intel 330 SSD on a Unibody Macbook late 2008 model running Snow Leopard. These numbers seems to be little slow? are there any things that I should try?

I did try downloading latest firmware from Intel and installing it via ISO bootup, but it says I already have latest firmware.

Also the negotiated link is at 1.5 Gigabit (Second image below), even the though the Link Speed is 3.0 Gigabit

Any ideas?

Update--Replaced with Samsung 830 and I have better numbers!

Here are the new numbers.

Lessons learnt:

System: Macbook 5,1 (late 2008 Unibody running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with 4GB RAM)

Tried using Intel 330 but got low numbers and only 1.5 Gigabit negotiated Link speed. After reading posts here, returned the Intel 330 and got a Samsung 830 128GB (from Microcenter Cambridge -- for folks in Boston area) for $99

I can see that the Link Speed is 3Gigabit (second screenshot below)
