I've got a slight annoyance(not a real problem) and I would love a way to address it. Yesterday I noticed that an update was available in the Mac App store for iPhoto. I went to the store to update the app and was told that the app only worked for 10.7.4 and above. I'm still running Snow Leopard, so the update didn't apply to me. No big deal.

The problem is that the Mac App store icon is still showing the update on the main screen and it's driving me nuts. Is there any way I can turn off the notification without installing the software on my system?? It's really annoying to know that I can't install it and so far as I know, I can't turn off the notification.

Can anybody give me a clue on what to do?
