My wife has a MacBook Air, 2014 with Yosemite 10.10 but now needs to update to the latest OSX " Big Sur " if possible. So what is the best way to do this as we cannot find any link to download and start installing!. Thanks.

Thanks for that however she who must be obeyed now has trouble signing into her Apple account and to be honest I am losing the will to live. She has changed her id and password several times, written them down in a note pad and to be honest she does not now wether she is coming or going.

The official way and only way I can recommend getting an installer is through Apple, which will be through the given App Store link. As for issues with the AppleID I can only recommend taking that up with Apple

Yes, she will have to bite the bullet and contact support although not confident doing this sort of thing. Just hope for my sanity she does it sooner rather then later🤣.

Not confident talking to customer support? Apple's support options vary from country to country, but seeing your profile says you're from England I would highly assume it's possible to email or text Apple Support there, if it's an anxiety thing to do with phone calls
