update iPad 2 to iOS7?

I know apple isnt signing iOS7 anymore, but I have an iPad 2 that is running an even older version of iOS. Is there any way to update to iOS7? Via a jailbreak or something? Trying to find a way but I cant find anything. Not confident enough in iOS8 to update it to that, I dont want something that is painfully slow, but iOS7 on an iPad 2 I used seemed fine.

You cannot update it to iOS 7, only 8.1.2.
