I've been checking the Apple iPhone tech specs page every day since the T-Mobile tweak announcement and it's finally here! Now I can buy an unlocked iPhone 5 with guaranteed 1700 MHz support—in Canada, too.

Just thought I'd share for all those worried about the mess of ordering an iPhone 5 A1428.

I dont see it:S

Tried US and Canada apple site, none show 1700

I didn't see it either, they were probably just testing it and will launch it officially Friday when the phone comes out.

Yeah I don't see it either...

That's odd. I loaded the page and it showed 1700/2100 as one to the supported frequencies. An hour later, it's gone.

Sorry for the factually incorrect thread, everyone.

Is that how websites are tested? Never knew. Oh well. Will probably have to wait till Friday after all.

US IP5 now listed as AWS HSPA+

GSM model A1428*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 4 and 17)

On the Canadian site, Apple initially listed the specs of the iPhone 5 as not having 1700/2100 MHz frequency under Tech Specs but when you go under the Technical Specifications page in the Buy section, it showed. Now the reverse is true. What does this mean?
