Update iPhoto 11 album remotely

We have a mac mini with iPhoto 11 in our reception playing a slide show of company/staff pics etc.

Is it possible to update the album the slideshow is playing from another machine? So it auto adds those pics to the slideshow.

Or for the slideshow to be playing the photo's from a network directory where people could just save photo's to?
