So i did the download of the updates to my ipad. In the past hour i have had a ton of errors, lost all chat history, facetime history, web browsing history, facebook errors, games that wont work, and even worse, email issues.

I had a pop up, a separate window with safari that refered to my wife's email addy... Wtf? I was in her email account....on my ipad so i exited out of respect. What the hell is happening, is this because we are on the same network.

It sounds incredibly odd that all this is happening, the only thing I can think of is about the e-mail. If you both have iPads: your iPad was probably reset, update installed then the wrong backup was applied. It probably happened in a flurry of pop-ups you clicked "OK" to or maybe something wigged out.

Everything else, I can't think of anything.

I agree with the other poster. Really suggests that you somehow restored your iPad with your wife's backup, or they somehow got mixed together, though no idea how that could happen.
