In iPhoto 8.1.2 (=iPhoto '09), I changed some key photos for some faces (especially with little kids whose faces change so much after some months).
But when I sync my iPhone 4S, the faces don't get updated in the Photos app, which keeps the old faces.
I tried in iTunes to uncheck a face, sync, check again the face, re-sync, but it didn't do the trick.

Anyone with the solution?

While at it, I notice that on my iPhone I have the faces of all the people of my iPhoto library, even though I checked in iTunes only some Faces!! And some of these Faces contain only pictures older than 12 months, so I don't even understand why the iPhone keeps them since I selected "Pictures from the last twelve months".

Thanks to enlighten me if you have the solution.

I'd rather not use the thermonuclear solution (= reset the iPhone totally).

Not sure about the key photo, but I've had issues in the past with the 12 month setting not working in iPhoto. Do a quick google search on that issue and I think you'll solve the outdated photo issue.

Good luck.
