If I don't have enough money now in my Bank, will Apple cancel my order if they try to pre-authorize and not enough money? Of course I will have the money later on but not today.

[UPDATE]

Ok i just checked my order status in the Apple site and got this message

"Payment action required: We are unable to obtain an authorization for the credit card you provided. Please contact your card issuing bank. Please update your payment method to continue with this order."

At least they did not cancel my order for now, I'm going to try and put some money in the bank and hopefully my order will still go thru.

Actually many say that it does not charge until the day it ships.

Yes that is correct. A pre auth will go out and you need to have the cash.

When you click the purchase icon it will put a charge on your card. So if you don't have the funds there, it will give you an error. Try it out and you'll see.

I did not get the error, it went thru but I know I don't have enough money in the bank now. I can see online now in my bank that they are trying to maybe pre-authorize but not showing any amount, I'm hoping it will go thru.

Get the 2nd one instead? No need to pinch pennies for an iPad.

I have the funds to buy an iPad 3, I was going to purchase one, but after Apples keynote stating they'll continue production on the iPad 2 at a cheaper price, I'm going for that. Think of money, if you're cutting it that close I wouldn't suggest an iPad.
