I took my father's iPod Touch at his request, bought the 2.0 update on my iTunes account, and updated it using my computer. Now I'm wondering if I might have created a little problem for syncing and updating in the future. I did not sync it with my computer so it is empty right now. Is there going to be a problem with syncing on his computer when he gets the Touch back? And when there are future updates to 2.0, will he be able to get them on his computer in his iTunes account, or will be have to use mine?

If you never synced with yours its no issue

If you did, then he will just have to resync his library

No harm done either way
