Hello guys, i hope you can save me :) , im very noob on mac. My friend ask e to update a macbook.

I make all update , and i find sierra on apple store, but system tell me i need a software version above of 10.7
Someone tell me is not good to update to sierra but check captain or maverick, but there isnt on apple store. I check on google but not find nothing (i found a maverick image but is corrupted.)

You need to start by upgrading to El Capitan: https://support.apple.com/HT206886
With that said, the computer's performance is going to be pretty poor with only 2GB of memory, so I'd suggest upgrading that before you upgrade the operating system.

That link works for me on Chrome.

Note that 10.11 El Capitan will not run very well with just 2 GB RAM and hard drive. It should have 4-8 GB RAM and SSD.
 
thanks a lot, i try again and finally i download the SO capitan, so i press to install, but after 30 minutes i get a error. Now i try to reboot and again im waiting the status bar installing the SO. Maybe i need to reboot the SO via usb? but how can copy the SO on the ubs?
