Right not really interested in jail breaking so want to update to 4.3.4 . I'm away from my synced pc for 2 weeks and wondering is their a way I can use my girlfriends computer to update without having to use the iPad as a new device I.e loosing all my stuff and syncing to hers. Any ion appreciated thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can do an update without syncing from another computer. I think I did this at work one time.
 
Will it not wipe all ur programs and settings though and return I too stock
 
So if I clicked cancel when plugged in and it gave the option to erase or transfer purchases and then went to update would it just update the iOS and leave everything else intact or would it wipe then realie on restoring from a backup
