I am running a Macbook Pro on OS X EI Capitan 10.11.6 and was wondering if my older macbook can handle updating to macOS High Sierra

Macbook Pro 13 Inch early 2011
Processor Ghz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Apple TV 3rd Generation

In addition I having trouble since the last iTunes update with logging in "You do not have enough access privileges for this operation". Would latest update to OS fix this issue? Thanks for any help or info.

Yes, I’m running elcapitan on a MacBook Air 2010, and Mac mini 2012.
Everything works
[doublepost=1532628654][/doublepost]Safari runs all websites, iTunes is running that version which is less complicated, photo plays Live Photo’s, airdrop is funky, but I need to reconfigure something and CS4 is working as expected. ElCapitan is only 2 OSXs behind mojave.
