I'm already jailbroken on 4.1 if I update to 4.2 and jailbreak again will I lose the data in my appstore apps like game progress and data or will it save all of that on the computer?

If you backup your iPhone regularly, you'll be fine..

What about Cydia apps and settings? It's no big deal for me since it'll only take a couple minutes to change my settings back to the way I like it, but I know others on here probably have a lot more data they want to keep.

Last time I did it, I had to reinstall all the jb stuff, because you have to upgrade to the latest iOS and then jailbreak that, so after upgrading your unit is not jb, so all your jb app's don't work or delete themselves.
