iPhone 6(S)/Plus Update to iOS 12 with not original screen

I replaced my iPhone 6's screen to a fake one.
Now I'm running 11.2.5. If I commit update to the iPhone, it will be fine?

Why would updating to iOS effect the screen?

Haven't heard any problems about the ALS or proximity sensor having problems with iOS 12.

Apple might have relaxed their rules after the previous uproar.
