iPhone Update to ios 6 gm?

Ok, so i really cant wait to get my hands on ios 6 and i read a few people saying on here that the GM has never required a UDID to be registered because its it's the same as the public build.

I am not a developer obviously but i have downloaded the ios 6 gm build and was wondering if you dont need a developer UDID and its not gonna be a buggy beta but the same as the release could i put it on my phone now?

Also as apple are still signing 5.1.1 would a downgrade from 6 gm to 5.1.1 be possible without any aptickets or shsh?

It's not that difficult to wait a week for the official release. I don't get why people have to jump on to something that isn't release. Some come back crying for help.
