I put the phone into recovery mode and I tried pwned DFU as well.
When I try to restore using the ispw I have been getting error 21 and error 1600. I used to get this before when I had difficulties downgrading my iPhone which I never got fixed.
Its a Verizon iPhone on 4.2.9. Tiny Umbrella isn't running. What should the host file look like for me to be able to ping Apple's servers?

Figured it out. Little Snitch was causing issues.
