itunes says their are new carrier settings.. its been saying this for a while now and i was just wondering if i can update these without loosing anything.. btw its jailbroken.. will it just sync and b done or will it need to b restored?

Dont worry you can update carrier setting without any problems even with your jailbreak firmware.
