So i just updated from 2.2.1 (if I recall the last update) to 3.1.1 today, and seemed to notice a few differences as far as performance goes, and pehraps someone could enlighten me on any of these if theyre apart of the new upgrade etc etc.
Upon initial start up, i did a upgrade and not a complete restore, didnt see the need for that to have to re-add all mystuff.
start up was a bit sluggish about 35 seconds compared to the regular 20 or so it took prior.
(having the same amount of songs (16gb worth of music & about 2gb of Apps & Misc)
And also upon start up, i see it boots NOT into the Home Screen, but the lock screen.....? Is that suppose to happen or not?
-I have 4 pages with apps; it seems to be a bit sluggish when swiping between each page than before
-Safari, when typing in a URL, if i initiate it in Portrait Mode and turn the iPod to Landscape mode the URL bar does not change....is that normal, i thought it did that in 2.1.1?
-When accessing music, after disconnecting it from iTunes, it spends about 2 minutes "Updating Library, even if it was just charging the iPod....
perhaps theres a way to safe boot or do a restart to clear it without restoring it?
any ideas or suggestions...thanks!
