Given the speed at which iPhone apps come out, and the fact that there are great new ones developed every day, I'm having a very difficult time finding up-to-date reviews of apps that are impartial and fact-based.
Meaning, when I search for, say, the "best stock ticker apps," I see tons of well-trafficked sites from 2008 and 2009. But apps evolve and new ones are added, so there's no good way to keep up with what's new.
User reviews on the iTunes store are usually full of crap - I suspect many issues have to do with people not resetting their iPhone/iPod after installing and becoming frustrated - and when I filter via google by "last 30 days" it hasn't been that much help.
Is there a better way to find apps?
