I am very excited to see how developers take their apps to the next level with iOS 7 and its clean crisp look. I think were going to see some radical changes to some of the apps we have come to recognize as "iPhone" design.

I messed around with Instagram to make some small changes to get an idea of what some of the possible changes could be.

  • Full Screen Photo - edge to edge
  • Fresh Font - thinner
  • Less "boxes"
  • Simple Tab Icons

I am in no ways a pro with photoshop so this is my very basic, best attempt, at what I have floating around in my brain.

As far as apps go I am hoping to see some of the "slide back" integration into all apps, the cleaner "whiter" design, better icons (maybe not with gradients), and just general updating to bring them to the look and feel (transparent) of some of the new iOS 7 features.

Thoughts? :apple:
