I'm sure this has been discussed but why or how long does the apps that were recently updated stay in the update screen? It's annoying.

Well it's okay. I don't know how long they stay there.

Turn automatic update off maybe you won't get that problem. :/

It's there so you can review which updates have been installed automatically. I believe they get pushed out every 20 apps or 7 days whatever comes first.

Personally I find this really handy, but I can see people with OCD tendencies being annoyed.

Well its not a huge problem and I already have automatic updates turned off but I can turn them back on if they will remain there so I know what updates. In that sense its pretty straight.
